Weekend Gateaway - Macedon Ranges

Exploring the vibrance of autumn and winter in macedon ranges of Victoria, soaking the winter sun, catching up with my lovely friend over cheese and wine. macedon was buzzing with a great mix of atmospheric vineyards, Gorgeous Gardens, cafes, and art galleries. it's only less than an hour drive from Melbourne.

I was catching up with a lovely friend over the weekend and we decided to take an impromptu drive to Macedon. Initially the main reason for the destination was creating content for this blog. It turned out to be a beautiful day at the Mount Macedon Winery chatting about following passion, chasing dream, growing faith & business and everything in between. That was the best part of the day.

But of course, the fine wintry sun, the crisp pinot grigio and the cheese platter added extra sweetness to the day. I would definitely recommend this winery if you are planning for a quick weekend getaway. If you are up to burn extra calories before the wine and dine, there’s always the famous Hanging Rock to hike or gorgeous botanic gardens to explore nearby.

Styling Outfit:

For outfits of the day, I was rocking this floral prints midi dress. I could be very picky when it comes to prints as I could get bored of them quickly. I picked this one since it is a black base which is easy to match with other outfits, and the floral prints added a splash of boldness and a bit of brightness in the gloomier winter days.
